How Tiny Toes Ballet comes across
Tiny Toes Ballet (here at its Crows Nest location) comes across as the polished, franchise-scale end of preschool ballet — an "award winning," expert-designed program for 2-7 year olds established in 2010, run across roughly a dozen Sydney sites under principal Rebecca Kidner. Its pitch is unusually explicit about "school readiness": testimonials are sourced from primary and high-school teachers and an early-childhood educator who frame the classes around "following instructions, taking turns," listening and transitions, with one noting it reinforces "Speech and Occupational Therapy" goals. Teaching is structured on the "Royal Academy of Dance International Syllabus," delivered through "imagery, storytelling, props" and rotating themes. Heavy emphasis on inclusivity "for children of all abilities," "no makeup, no pressure," and charity fundraising rounds out the picture. The overall impression is of a developmentally-minded, confidence-first introduction to ballet — chosen as much for the soft skills as the dancing.
