Alonzo King LINES Dance Center is the public-class arm of Alonzo King LINES Ballet — the internationally recognised contemporary ballet company founded in 1982 by choreographer Alonzo King. The Dance Center occupies the 5th floor at 26 7th Street in SoMa with six spacious, professionally equipped studios. Programming runs more than 80 weekly classes from absolute beginner through professional levels across Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Bollywood, and African Rhythms and Movement, plus workshops and master classes. The Center sits alongside the LINES Ballet pre-professional Training Program and BFA partnership pathway.
