Institutional contemporary dance
Gibney Dance is one of New York's premier contemporary dance organisations — home of the touring Gibney Company alongside open and professional-level classes, wellness programs, and rehearsal space for the wider dance community. Children's multi-discipline studios
Three studios serving Tribeca families. Downtown Dance Factory has run a structured children's curriculum from 291 Broadway since 2009. Luna Performing Arts opened on Murray Street in 2019 with an unusually wide range including Chinese dance. Dance with Miss Rachel operates Tribeca as one of three Manhattan locations, with a Plie and Play preschool program alongside Ballet, Tap, and Future Broadway Stars classes.
