About the school
Dance Project of Washington Heights is a community-based dance nonprofit at 350 Fort Washington Avenue dedicated to providing dance education to the children and families of Upper Manhattan regardless of cultural background or income level. Programming covers ages 3-14 with ballet, modern, tap and hip-hop technique, taught by experienced teachers. A pay-what-you-can policy welcomes all families regardless of financial means. The organisation is led by Co-Founder and Executive Director Heather Godfrey.
