North Hollywood is the commercial-dance neighbourhood of Los Angeles. The NoHo Arts District holds the densest concentration of open-class commercial studios in the country — facilities where working music-video and television dancers train, where major commercial choreographers run weekly drop-ins, and where two of the most-followed commercial-dance brands (TMilly TV and ImmaBEAST) operate their physical studios. The six active schools below split between choreographer-led brand studios, open multi-studio facilities running daily drop-in schedules, and two community-focused studios outside the industry axis.

Choreographer-led commercial brand studios
Two of the most-followed commercial-dance brands in the United States operate their physical studios in North Hollywood. TMilly Studio is Tim Milgram's facility — the production base for TMilly TV and TMilly Creative alongside drop-in classes from industry choreographers. ImmaSpace is the studio home of WilldaBeast Adams and Janelle Ginestra's ImmaBEAST crew and the wider BuildaBeast convention network.

Open commercial studios with drop-in schedules
Two multi-studio facilities running daily open classes for adults across hip hop, jazz funk, contemporary, heels, and adjacent commercial styles. Eighty Eight Studios opened in 2021 in the former Movement Lifestyle (mL) location on Weddington Street and is ClassPass-enabled. Evolution Studios has run since 2007 from a 7,000-square-foot six-studio facility on Burbank Boulevard, hosting Commercial Dance Training programs alongside rehearsal rental.

Children's and community performing arts

Liv'art Dance Studio is a non-competitive children's school for ages 2–18 running ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap from six studio rooms on Weddington Street. The H.E.ART Performing Arts Academy is a nonprofit triple-threat school co-founded by Emmy winner Vernée Watson at the MKM Cultural Arts Center, with an unusually wide style mix including West African and Flamenco alongside Jazz Funk, Modern, and Musical Theatre.
