About the school
The H.E.ART (Heartfelt Education through the ARTs) is a nonprofit performing arts academy operating from the MKM Cultural Arts Center in the NoHo Arts District. Co-founded by Eartha Robinson and two-time Emmy winner Vernée Watson, The H.E.ART provides classes across acting, dance and movement, voice-over, and editing for aspiring performers of all ages. Dance offerings include jazz/funk, modern, West African, and flamenco taught by established faculty. The MKM facility houses three dance and rehearsal studios, a theatre, and an outdoor performance patio.
